Shurbros Founder and President Michael Shurkin has over 15 years’ experience working on international defense and security at CIA, the RAND Corporation, and 14 North Strategies. His expertise includes defense modernization and technology, trans-Atlantic and European defense and security, military doctrine and strategy, defense institution building, and counter-terrorism. He has a MA, M.Phil, and Ph.D. from Yale and a BA from Stanford, and he also studied at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales.
